Phew.. Titus Bramble Ruled Out!

Phew.. Titus Bramble Ruled Out!

HA..! Some transfer news. No, not a signing, so not that good but at least Villa have distanced themselves from the silly link in the Daily Mirror today to Wigan defender Titus Bramble!

The report said we'd pay around £3.5million and offer Villa's young midfield prospect Barry Bannan as part of the deal.

There are several reports now quoting sources at Villa say this isn't on!

In another small transfer snippet, it looks like former Arsenal midfielder, Alexander Hleb, linked to Villa several times, is happy at Barcelona.

How do I know? Well, his agent said on Sky Sports: 'Help is happy at Barcelona.'

So my conclusions seem to be pretty ... errm, well conclusive really.

Who is "Help", is it the same guy that The Beatles sang about?

bet we get him! He wouldn't be all that bad to be fair. We need a more robust defender, someone other than Bramble would be better, of course.
