Robbie Keane To Villa? + Other Transfer Talk!

Rob Beasley of The News Of The World has a report linking Villa with a move for German international, currently playing for Bayern Munich, Tim Borowski.

The report claims the 29-year-old 6ft 5inch midfielder would cost in the region of £5million.

Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins has shot up £1million in price from Fridays link! In Friday's Aston Villa Transfer Talk he was going to cost would be suitors £5million but now according to the Mirror, the Nigerian striker, wanted by Stoke, Villa, Everton and Spurs, would cost £6million.

The People have a report by Tom Hopkinson saying that Villa boss Martin O'Neill (in case you didn't know who he was!) is interested in Spurs striker Robbie Keane.

Not sure why the press don't just print out the full Spurs squad and link us, surely it would be much easier?!?!?

According to the People Sport, Spurs boss Appy Arry would be willing to let the striker go just six months after buying him back from Liverpool... are you following this? Good, I'm not... if the price was right.

Apparently the sort of fee they'd want is £12million. The paper says Keane's departure would shock Spurs' fans, but Redknapp would ideally like to pair Jermain Defoe with a big man just as he did when the pair were together at Portsmouth. .

Just can't see it myself. Oh, the report also says that Redknapp would love John Carew at White Hart Lane, a link that did the rounds a few weeks back.

The Express & Star say that Villa's interest in Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell has cooled due to the players wage demands. Errr, not it hasn't cooled, it was never hot in the first place...!

Robbie Keane would be amazing! Owen would be good, Martins would be okay but Darren Bent would be poor. Don't be fooled in thinking that we will be bringing Robbie Keane in next week though or something like that because odds are, the story is complete bs and MON is after a replacement for Laursen first, then a replacement for Barry. So maybe expect the names Wheater, Hangelland, Huddlestone, Defour and Jenas to be doing the rounds again soon. But Robbie Keane would be absolutely excellent!

Robbie Keane is past it, done nothing since he came back from the scousers and maybe why he didn't make it there!! Starting to think that MON could do wonders for Owen if he still has any hunger. IN interviews Owen always looks paranoid and shy, think MON could get his confidence up. As for that lanky German, 100% a MON type of player but he'll probably end up playing out of position so ???
