The tickets for our summer pre-season tournament .. namely The Peace Cup, are on sale now: Click Here

Villa face Malaga and Atlante and the official site say the tickets for those games are on priority sale. Both sets are available to 2009-10 season ticket holders with remaining ones going on sale to supporters with a Villa booking history on Monday July 6. We have an allocation of 500 tickets for both games and they can be bought via phone on 0800 612 0970 or in person at Villa Village.

Competition: Buy an extra ticket for the games, plane flights and hotel accommodation and win my company for the clashes. No? Ok, worth a try.

Martin O'Neill said on the official site that the competition should be 'interesting' but laments the fact Villa won't now be facing Celtic who have pulled out of the competition.

'It is very prestigious and has been moved to Europe now this season. I just think it will be excellent. The quality should be really, really good. It went down very well in the East but now they have moved the venue and I'm hoping it goes down very well in Europe too. It will be roasting - very warm indeed - and I think it will prove to be great preparation for the start of the season.'

couldn't possibly comment on your arse... but the tournament serves the main purpose which is to give the lads a bit of match fitness, don't think the results will matter one bit!
