Gabby Waiting On Scans

Gabby Waiting On Scans

Gabby Agbonlahor will undergo scans at some point today to find out the extent of the calf injury he suffered in last nights U-21 victory over Spain.

After limping off in the first half of our 2-0 win, the striker is now waiting to find out if he will be passed fit for the clash against Germany on Monday.

Speaking to the official site, England U21 boss Stuart Pearce said:

'I think Gabby's ok. He tightened up both of his calves. He felt it just before the warm up. We'll wait for the dust to settle.

'You hope they are alright and then you make a call and prepare them for Germany on Monday.'

So who does Pearce call? Has he named Gabby's shins individually?

Being Friday, hopefully we'll have news of the scans before we all get drunk to start the weekend.

I do like the taxi video, nothing to do with the article, but Barry from Extras (and that awful soap) is funny!

would think - not that I know anything - as we are already qualified it would make more sense to rest him? They said shins earlier, now calfs are mentioned!

Just as well he not having a brain scan - they'd find nothing at all.

Fear, if you were reading this page from where I am in Germany, you wouldn't notice the taxi video. Just below it here is a German beauty clinik advertising for breast implants! :-o
