Vital Villa asked for your player of the season and the result was pretty rock solid.... Just a year ago, who'd have guessed that none other than Stiliyan Petrov would win... in fact not many would have guessed he'd get a single vote!
Petrov got 41% of the vote.
Next up was left-back/right-back (!) Luke Young with 12% and Gareth Barry was third with 9%.

Had Laursen stayed fit all or even most of the season he would have walked it. As it is, Stan is a reasonable choice, not that I voted for him but hey, I can't expect everyone to see with the clarity that I do. lol

Short memories, Laursen played 24 games and was MOM most times, after he got injured we won only 5 league games the rest of the season, each one against a team in the bottom 6-7 (Hull Newcastle Blackburn Sunderland Portsmouth) You got my vote Martin, and good luck in your retirement!

Petrov was great for 80 minutes in every game as was Barry. Unfortunately both went missing in the last 10 minutes every week.
