Gabriel Agbonlahor has spoken about Villa captain Gareth Barry saying: 'Everyone knows about Gareth, but it's football and he'll do what he feels it's right to do. He doesn't tell us anything. It's his business. It would be great to keep him and it would be great to keep all our quality players but it never happens like that, does it? We'll wait and see. I'm quite close to him but he doesn't really talk about what's going to happen to him.'

It is a balancing act but, yes, there will be funds. Will the credit crunch impact on funds available this summer? I don't really view the credit crunch as a big issue in terms of the funding for the summer. But, if anything, what has gone on in the economy makes you very conscious of building a sustainable business because, in the end, that is what you are responsible for doing.'
