Olof Mellberg Link Was Simply Pants!

Olof Mellberg Link Was Simply Pants!

Another 'exclusive' story quashed by Villa boss Martin O'Neill as he denies any knowledge of a summer swoop for former Villa boy Olof Mellberg.

MON told the official site, following reports in the Birmingham Mail that Villa were going to try to bring back the bearded wonder,

'It's news to me. There's nothing in it.'

From a forum conversation to a sensational exclusive and back to pants (I have no link for pants, sorry, try the Littlewood catalogue).... ah the life of journalism... don't it just make you proud!

I guess our latest poll vote is a bit redundant now.. I asked if you would like to see Villa bring back Olof, Yes, yes and yes (90%) No, a player should never return (7%) Unsure (3%)

I'll start the next one... It is rumoured that former wing wizard Tony Morley has found the fountain of youth and is set to return to Villa in a sensational £25million deal.

Who was the journalist that broke the so-called story anyway? Or ought that read "so-called journalist"? Next up: "Hitzelsperger to return to Villa - Exclusive".
