Villa v Going Down Or Not Magpies Live On Sky

For those who can't make it, the game between Aston Villa and relegation threatened Newcastle United has been selected to be screened live on Sky Sports.

They deserve to drop after being messed around by that Mike Ashley tool. 1 minute he's selling, the next he's staying mainly because noone wants to meet his price. He was in it for the money. Martins has got to be in MON's top 3 choices for our extra striker. Part exchange for Heskey????

I agree about Martins, he did the damage against us at Newcastle last year, but I still think Owen would be great on a pay per game basis. He wants to go to the WC in SA, and he would have his best chance playing for us, so maybe he would agree to a low fee. I don't like sending anyone down, but I hated the barcodes during the Solano times, they were really arrogant then, thinking they were a "big" club! So I suppose I would like to see us send them down!

As a player you are always remembered for your last game so I hope, If he does go that is, that GB scores the winner for us and also remembers what a priveledge (sp) it is to captain this great club! Finally, our season deserves us to finish on a high and try and grab 5th place with Everton having a tough away trip to Fulham who have been on fire. Would be nice for Laursen also to see us win in his last season.

Several issues for Sunday. I presume Laursen will be on the pitch with the rest of the team after the game. Lets give him a send off to remember. He could have gone on to be a legend up there with God if circumstances had been different. It may be GB's last game. Lets give him the accolades he deserves. He has been awesome this season. Not forgetting how as fans we got it wrong at the start of this season. How can Mellberg, who cost £5m and who refused to sign a new contract meaning we couldn't get a penny when he walked out on us, leave a hero? When GB who cost relatively nothing, gives 10 years brilliant service and would have gone making us a fortune, be seen as the anti christ? Personally I would like them both still at VP next season!! Most importantly, it would be good to see as many fans as possible stay at the end to give the team a great end of season send off. As for the barcodes, I hope we send them down. We all know they have been begging, stealing and trying everything to get tickets for the game. Good luck to them. But I hope if any of them are found to be in Villa areas they get dealt with appropriately by Villa fans before the stewards throw them out. They are not welcome in any area of VP except for the away fans area. If any Villa fan is proved to have sold his ticket to a barcode, I hope they are never allowed back in VP again. Sunday has the makings of a great day. We can finish 5th, we can say goodbye to Laursen, we can send the barcodes down and as fans we should play our part. No doubt the barcodes will make some noise. It would be nice if the Trinity Road and Witton Lane joined in with the Holte and Lower North Stand, to make VP a wall of noise. Off subject slightly, I would never invite the Nailbombers and/or Rangers in to the Premier League, but it might be worth considering letting the Barcodes, Mackems and Boro join the Scottish League. If nothing else it would save everybody else a fortune in petrol each season.
