Villa To Scout For Viking Villans
This could be good news, Villa have appointed a scout for the Scandinavian region.
Ok, before the comments get filled with doom and gloom, I'll concede I thought that maybe we'd already have had one of those, especially as we've had some very fine Nordic players in our time but hey, lets not dwell, lets start dreaming of a great summer of transfers!
Villa have appointed David Wilson for the job. He has recently left Swedish club Ljungskile.
He said in Fotbollskanalen, a publication us at Fear Towers are subscribed to:
'I have had contact with Aston Villa for a long time and when they heard that I was taking a break from football they asked if I wanted to do this for them.' Adding, 'I have many contacts left in football over here, and it will be fun travelling around looking at players. This is the same as all clubs in the Premier League work.'
Ok, so new young versions of Olof Mellberg, Martin Laursen and Henrik Larson within the next few months would be good!

Should have just asked me to do it, I'd do it on an expenses only basis. I'd be crap but have a great time doing it. Mind you, I did say, before we got Carson, that we should have tried a bid for keeper Rune Almening Jarstein, a great talent. Instead he went to Rosenborg and even at his tender age, has become first choice keeper for the national team so perhaps I'm not a crap as I thought.

I hope he finds more future Laursens and Mellberg (im sure one of which will be John Mellberg) then future Enckelmans.
