Reo For Right Back

Luke Young is a doubt for our upcoming clash against Bolton with a foot injury.

Apparently Lukey has been playing through the pain of late, taking a series of injections to get him through games but he was unable to finish training last Thursday.

Speaking on the official site, O'Neill said:

'Luke is a doubt. He didn't finish training on Thursday. He has had a sore foot for some time and has been playing thanks to pain killing injections.

'He is uncomfortable at the moment but we'll see. He wants to play - so we will have a look at that.

'It would be a blow. He has played left back, right back and as an emergency centre back for us this season. I have really appreciated it.'

So if the injections can't be used for Bolton, which of our team will end up back on the right? Reo, Gardner, Cuellar, Friedel?

Didn't Salifou have a go at RB earlier in the season? Nah, only kidding. Reo for me.

How many of our team are playing with injuries?? Call me old-fashioned, but if a player is injured, surely he should be given the chance to recover from his injury?? Every other day there seems to be further evidence emerging of O'Neill's ineptitude. This is what happens when you have just one right-back in your squad. Luke Young has played fantastically this season. That he's been playing with an injury makes it all the more impressive. All credit to Young, and NONE AT ALL to O'Neill.

NRC has put in a fair few performances at RB. Notably one against ManU when he had Ronaldo in his pocket! I can't see why he can't fill in at Bolton! Come on UTV! Lets get back to winning ways!
