Has Brad Friedel Saved Yeovil?

On-loan goalkeeper Chris Weale scored an injury-time equaliser on Tuesday night that may well have helped save Yeovil Town from relegation, and he had Brad Friedel to thank.

With the Glovers 2-1 down against the now outgoing Graham Turner`s Hereford United side, Weale, on loan from Bristol City popped up for a corner and buried what I can only describe as a fine header past his opposite number to scramble a much needed point.

The draw now takes Yeovil 4 points clear of the drop zone with just two fixtures remaining and their unlikely hero had Brad Friedel to thank having taken inspiration from the former US #1`s book:

Weale said: "I saw a picture of Brad scoring in his book and decided I`d have a go."

Perhaps my idea of putting Brad Guzan up alongside John Carew (on account he falls over less often than Heskey) isn`t such a crazy one after all?

Getting your Brad's mixed up there mate !! Guzan or not Guzan that is the question!

Not at all, we need Friedel to stay in goal, but Guzan isn;'t doing much at the moment so lets use him as a forward.

Ha, Murph, you are starting to sound like MON, put a player anywhere, they'll be ok! LOL :o) Like the article!

That's a bit unfair on Heskey, to be honest. After all, his scoring is into double figures already - two.
