Season Ticket / Cup Ticket Rule Changes

Just a warning, for those renewing season tickets.

There has been a rule change with regards to reserving Cup match tickets.

Before a season ticket holder would get a period of grace in which to buy their cup tickets for their season ticket seat. (ie you would have until such and such a date to buy the ticket and then it would go on general release)

This year, to guarantee you can sit in 'your' seat at cup games, you would need to join the cup voucher scheme. The scheme means your season ticket card is automatically loaded with the cup game and your credit card is charged for the match so you don't have to do anything other than turn up! You can however return any tickets you don't want so in effect you can still pick and choose if you so wish.

To sum up then, it's an opt-out rather than an opt-in.

Interesting.

yup, that is about the size of it murph. Must admit first time in years I wasn't going to join the cup scheme this season, I wanted to see if MON had a re-think and decided to treat the cups with respect before committing my money, but due to the changes I have renewed.
