Martin O'Neill has called on the Villa faithful to be out in full voice again and praised us for staying with the team against Everton.
Speaking on the official site, O'Neill called the fans Everton performance 'phenomenal' and insisted that the first teamers were delighted with the support they received.
'The players are in good spirits and feel like a win is around the corner.
'They were so, so encouraged by the crowd staying with them for the whole of the game on Sunday.
'The crowd were absolutely phenomenal. They kept with the team and didn't throw in the towel when they could easily have given up at various stages in the game.
'That was a source of genuine encouragement for me and the players.'
Maybe we didn't throw in the towel because we could see the team wasn't going to and we didn't see our manager put a winger at centre half?
Let alone the fact we'd have all been happy that we had a natural leftback in the team, and our in form goalscoring striker actually starting the match.
These things go together you know.
