Bluebirds Battling To Keep Taylor

Dave Jones has admitted that he is desperately trying to hold onto Stuart Taylor until the end of the season.

Our 3rd choice goalkeeper joined Cardiff on loan last month as emergency cover for old boy Enckelman and Tom Heaton who were both injured.

Taylor who is due to play his last game on Saturday against Palace, has admitted he wouldn't mind staying on - who can blame him, he's actually playing, but it depends on whether a further deal can be struck between both clubs.

Speaking to BBC Wales, Jones said:

'I've got a meeting with the chairman and we will sit down and see.

'It doesn't matter whether we want to keep him, we've still got to ask Villa because he is their player and we've not heard from them.'

Let Stuart stay on with Cardiff City. The guy deserves the opportunity, he needs to get his career back on track. Returning to Villa Park only to be third choice keeper is not where Stuart needs to be right now. Good Luck to him.

Stuart's new born baby was seriously ill back in August/September time. Whatever happened with that situation. Hopefully everything turned out o.k., but I clearly somehow missed reading of the outcome. Anyone able to update the story?
