MON Is A Very Naughty Boy!

Martin O'Neill isn't the messiah, he is a very naughty boy!

The Villa boss has been charged by the FA with improper conduct by the Football Association for his comments to the ref after the Manchester United game at Old Trafford.

MON claimed there were three wrong off side decisions and blasted the ref for giving five minutes extra time which he said at the time was 'psychologically draining' for the players.
MON said, 'What was it? Five minutes added time? I'm sure we wouldn't have got it at Villa Park.'

He has until 27 April to appeal.

No-one's allowed to speak out against Fergie or Manure. MON should have known that really and only McGrath knows how Benitez got away with it with the succession of faaacts the other month.

How many times did Riley look down at his watch with an exaggerated extended arm as if to say "it's OK Fergie, I'll give you plenty of time." I'm glad MON was passionate enough to have been charged by the FA and I hope he walks into Lancaster Gate and tells them to shove it where the sun don't shine. AND I hope that *****es them off to the point that they will never consider him for the England job... :)

MON will take it on the chin the same as all the other managers who have 'dared' say something. It is as stupid as the players who get booked for celebrating. I mean, how DARE they celebrate a goal..!

I watched that game in the pub with (mostly) Mancs, and it was the Mancs that were bemused with the 5 minutes more than the neutrals. Let's face it; we know that some refs are intimidated by the big clubs, it's human nature. Top marks to MoN for speaking his mind.

As for the supposed five minutes of injury time, I mean, c'mon. When did we last experience five minutes of injury time in a game at Villa Park. There was no justification for it. Very rarely do the officials signal for in excess of four minutes. Most inside of Old Trafford, and no doubt those watching on the box, were no doubt equally bemused by the added time.
