Villa Set New Club Record

Congratulations to the Villa team.

Tonight - in a difficult game against Pompey - they set a club record six away league wins in a row.

11 undefeated as well. Sometimes I don't know how we are doing it, but doing it we are!

Bring on Wigan... the next lambs to the lions slaughter!

Ugly win, But back Line superb, Heskey goal on his debut, we are third in the league ( well at least till tomorrow!!!) and a new record, does it get any better( well apart from a certain night holland in the early 80's!!!)

I dont know how we keep winning,it feels like we adopt the policy of passive resistance when Im watching,it's hard going as a spectator.Im not complaining, every player is giving everything they've got.Heskey was superb.Belhadj foul was the most blatant I've ever seen.

I am a man city fan and I am delighted to see how well Aston villa are doing an i know its early days but whats to stop them challenging for the top 2 and maybe even the title they seem to be the most consistent team recentley keep up the good work o'neill an good luck for the rest of the season.

It was uncomfortable but Friedel had nothing to do really, in the big scheme of things. We missed Ashley Young but we still got the desired result, the transfer window aint closed yet & we still got Ash, Big John & Bouma to come back... can't be much happier than this really!

Is there anywhere I can watch highlights from last night's game? Spent the whole time trying to find a site to watch it, and failed miserably.
