Cuellar for me, had Tevez marked out of the game.

Several decent showings on what was a much improved team performance. Got to be John Carew though, closely followed by Gareth Barry. Nicky Shorey put in a none too shabby shift, and hopefully he'll keep his place for this upcoming weekends game against Moyes' lot.

Agreed Mr G, thought the lads showed fine spirit.

1% for Gabby? What have you lot got against the lad? Really got in where it hurt to put us ahead. Then you give all sorts of daft votes to defenders who let in two goals in the last 15 minutes. Villa fans! Who can hope to understand them?

Nicky Shorey had a fine game and should have played far more this season. Both full backs were able to asist with attacking in the Manure game rathar than just Luke (on the wrong side) for the rest of the season. Not sure why Nicky got the nod this time, against the best player in the world! But he did great. Play the players in their normal positions Mon and they might suprise you!
