Lawro Says Villa Loss...!

Mark Lawrenson has really stuck his neck out on the BBC this week saying 2-0 to Man Utd!

'Some might say it's a good time to play Villa, what with their recent results, but Martin O'Neill has had two weeks to take stock. He'll maybe go back to a system of 4-5-1/4-3-3, with Gabriel Agbonlahor cutting through the middle. However, Alex Ferguson will have his strongest team out - he has to - and it will be as narrow a 2-0 result as it's possible to be.'

What we really need is Everton to be beaten by Wigan and for Manchester City to do us a favour v Arsenal!

i tell you what im thinking villa and not only because im a liverpool fan and that would be the best result for us but man have only got tevez that is ok to play and he has just back on friday from internationals they have vidic missing and rio got back problems which carew will be able to take advantage of and to top it all off they are on the back to back defeats which hasn't happen for many years so confidence is very low....... i think it is the best time for you to play them i think 2-1 villa

We've got to win one day, maybe today is the day. The sun is out, the sky is blue, Utd have players out and Villa are due!
The Fear
The writing on the wall would say a loss, but I've sneaking feeling which I've not felt against Man Utd in supporting villa for over 20 years, that we MIGHT just sneak this one... Just a feeling I have.

I don't give a toss what Lawro, Can'tscoreino, or Hanson have to say! They are paid for there opinions! which in my book are worthless. Anyway I agree with TF, today might just be the day. I'm not convinced thou!!!! But I am the eternal optimist! UTV....

I can't stand Mark Lawrenson. If I want someone to constantly interrupt my enjoyment of the football, with pointless, witless, ill-informed *****e, then I'll get a girlfriend.

I think that feeling of yours johnnyuk was just a case of one-eyed optimism. Not to worry though, we all get it from time to time.
