Marlon Harewood currently on loan at Wolves, says he bears MON no hard feelings. He told Sky Sports News: 'It is frustrating when you're not playing, but Villa have been doing so well this year it's just nice to be part of that really. At the end of the day, it's up to the gaffer who he picks at that time when the games come up, and now I've just got an opportunity to go and do well with Wolves.'

Former Aston Villa defender Martin Keown says Villa fans will need to show some patience adding, 'They have come an awful long way from David O’Leary being in charge to where they are now. The crowds are going up year by year and there is a real expectancy and I think they have become a little bit impatient. People should remember how well they have done.' (I do have to add that despite DOL being a berk, he did get us to 6th in the league under far harder times - ie Doug Ellis and as yet we've not beaten that...!)
Wilfred Bouma has told the official site that he thought his career was over and thanks his team mates for their support getting him through the horrific injury. 'Some of the lads here have had big injuries. I have spoken to them and they gave me some good advice. That's been very helpful. Curtis Davies and Martin Laursen spoke to me just like the rest of the team. They have supported me.' More quotes via the E&S: Freddy's Future Fears

Vital Villan: Nathan Delfouneso played 90 minutes for the England U19 side last night and believes the experience will serve him well. The young striker put in a 'lively' performance in the 0-0 friendly clash with the Czech Republic last night, as anyone who turned up at Bescot last night will know - so did anyone? Speaking on the official site, Delboy said: 'It's important to play against players at this level and it's good to go and test yourself on a personal level. 'These games help your development as a player. Obviously international football is a bit different to club football. You are playing against different cultures and different types of footballers, so it's all part of your education.' Full article: Click Here
