Agbonlahor Withdraws From U21 Squad

Gabby Agbonlahor has withdrawn from the England U21 squad tonight after suffering a hamstring injury.

It is not thought to be too serious and is being described as a precautionary measure.

Hopefully we'll know more shortly.

Surprise Surprise. Not like he needs the extra game to try and get his confidence back. The players have had 2 weeks off now so if they're still tired they've got problems.

Good. He needs a break more than he ever needs to be turning out for Pearce's under 21 squad.

This young man has been playing virtually non-stop all season long. He has to be burned out. Young players need the occasional step away from the spot-light, its no wonder that his form has suffered.
