Reserves At West Ham

Villa's second string travel to West Ham tonight looking to put in another exciting performance.

Kevin MacDonald's men have scored 10 goals in the last two fixtures alone, beating Chelsea 4-3 and Pompey 6-1 and are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier Reserve League.

Wet Spam themselves are 8 points behind in 3rd place so if any fans can get to Bishops Stortford FC for 7pm tonight they could well be in for another treat.

The squad has some strength to it, with Albrighton, Salifou, Harewood and Delfouneso out on show, so they are taking it seriously.

Full squad:

Parish, Roome, Lichaj, Clark, Lowry, Hogg, Albrighton, Salifou, Weimann, Harewood, Delfouneso.

Subs:

Baker, G Gardner, Hofbauer, Collins.

No Bouma?

No Nicky Shorey? For heavens sake Martin, give the guy a full ninety minutes, and lets get him up to speed in readiness for an immediate first team recall. Not too much to ask is it? Then we can switch Luke Young to his favoured right back position, and give ourselves a little bit of balance at the back.

We must be pretty damn close to actually clinching this reserve team title now. Maybe even three points against West Ham will do it? Its been a very good season for the reserves. They've played some entertaining stuff each time I've got to watch them. Dont like this switch to Hinkley though for the games. Hardly encourages you to get to the game and support the lads. Hope this venue doesn't continue into next season.
