Liverpool/Everton Away In 5th Round of FA Cup

Aston Villa will play Liverpool or Everton away (if they beat Doncaster Rovers in the 4th round replay).

The full 5th round of the FA Cup.

Sheffield United v Hull City
Watford v Chelsea
West Ham v Middlesbrough
Sunderland/Blackburn v Coventry City
Derby County/Nottingham Forest v Manchester United
Swansea v Fulham
Liverpool/Everton v Aston Villa/Doncaster Rovers
Cardiff City/Arsenal v WBA/Burnley

Ties will be played the weekend of February 14 - 15.

I'm assuming that the RedCheatingLuckyOneManTeam from Merseyside will beat Everton in the replay and we will beat Donny. So, it will be RedCheatingLuckyOneManTeam vs Villa. That's us out of the cup this year then. MON might as well put the reserves out against Donny as it has become a meaningless fixture. Sorry to be pessimistic but our record against the 'top' teams is beyond poor.

Hopefully we'll finish the job and dispatch Convict FC with relative ease. We were missing arguably our 3 best strikers and 2 best midfielders today, yet they still couldn't beat us. Any team who manages to avoid defeat with Castillo in the side is doing something right. Nice to see the Fat Spanish Waiter still letting the pressure get to him in his pre and post match interviews. Would be nice to get the chance to get a little bit of revenge on you lot after the earlier fixture this season!

Why all the pessimism? Do we want to be a top team or not? Bet MON relishes the prospect of putting the fat Spanish waiter out of the cup as well as beating him in the transfer market too.

Got to beat the best to be the best. Think the attitude of our team is changing and we can beat the top 4 teams and become one of them. I agree we did have a long time when we had an inferiority complex but hopefully that is now behind us.

Think you will find it's Goodison we're off to, as I reckon Everton will turn them over in the replay. Looking forward to playing Everton again, always a good game and hopefully we can show what we can do by putting a decent performance on this time. Who knows, maybe we'll score 5 or 6 when we're not being lucky?????

Trust us to get a big club and the others easy teams. Im sure if we've got our heads on we can get a result. Would prefer the toffees to the poo though because the reds are scabby w!@nkers. All depends if Mon wants to win it or not. Always nice to win silverware but champs league has to be MONs priority. Come on everton turn the tossers over

Piper, although I find pessimism to be bizarre, I do think you're being harsh on Liverpool... they're a TWO man team ;-) Anyway I think Everton could well go through here. Horrible goalkeeping for the equaliser, unfortunate really.
