Bannan Gets The Clough Treatment

Bannan Gets The Clough Treatment

Barry Bannan has moved to Derby County on a month's loan.

Nigel Clough moved for the reserve regular and CSKA hero and it's believed he will be going straight into the squad for their next match against Sheffield United.

Speaking on the official site, Bannan said:

'I am excited by the move and it will be good to play in front of some big crowds. It will be excellent experience for me.'

In a way it's a shame, as I was hoping we would get to see Bannan play more of a part in our final 10 game run in, but if he can get a run of games at Derby and really impress, then he'll be coming back full of confidence and it will do him the world of good.

Small in stature, heart of a lion. Good little footballer, its what he needs. He'll do well at Derby County, he wont let them, or us down.
