Man Of The Match v Stoke + New Poll!

Vital Villa asked for your man of the match vote for the Villa v Stoke game.

Stiliyan Petrov, who kicked off the scoring at the end of the first half won with 66% of the votes. He really has become a fans favourite has he not!?

James Milner and Brad Friedel both got 9% with Gareth Barry just behind on 7%

Our latest poll was suggested by eltoro. I emailed to make sure he really wanted it asked to which he replied:

Yep, course I want it as a poll - it'd be quite funny! See who's more disliked between Platt and Gray. Whenever I see them on the TV when Villa are playing, they both have negative things to say about us constantly. I find this astonishing when you think of what Martin O'Neil has done over the last few years. I even mute the TV when they're on cos I'm sick of listening to them - it's as though they have to support the other team to distance themselves from Villa. Unlike Phil Thompson, Liverpool, Mark Lawrenson, Liverpool, Linekar, Leicester & Spurs, Shearer, Blackburn & Newcastle, who've always got good things to say about the teams they used to play for.

Platt & Gray - if I have to listen to them say once more about how Lampard is 'world class', I'll go mental - not that he isn't world class, but I don't need to be told it 30 times every half!!!

And, I will try to find a mini-pinata and maybe next time they're down at the Villa, you could award them with their trophy for winning the poll!
