FFS! When things look to be on the way up...somthing bad happens!
In MON we trust!
Not good maybe we could stick Heskey at the back since he is a big land and of course no good as striker.

***thats supposed to be - big lad***
Tez86
I no Martin is a big big player for us but atleast we are covered in those postions. But it still will be a bad loss for us. I am confident that Davies and Cuellar will do a job at centre back. After the Heskey deal i think we will see aother two signings come in. UTV, IN MON WE TRUST.
Jonesy08
such a shame, he'd done so well last season to be an ever present. Hopefully he'll soon bounce back. The guy deserves some luck after fighting back so bravely TWICE.
The Fear
Poor Martin! Good job we've decent cover...get well soon.
olofthegreat
:(...massive blow for us.....massive massive blow !!!! easily our best defender, however I think Centre Back is the one position we have cover in......step forward Cuellar and Davies.....hmmmm I wonder if we will buy a full back now ? ? ?
Bearvill
Well, not a huge surprise but a massive loss. He is the rock upon which our success this year has been founded. Let's hope that Curtis / Zat / Carlos can step up. We deffo need a new RB now as cover for Luke and a left sided operator (wing-back) to cover for Ashley / Bouma. I would also like to see a replacement for Routledge. And, of course, a player like Owen was, but could that be our Del-boy?

bollox. Get well soon skip!
bazzah
Thatnks for the info ...I'll have to take him out of my dream team now!
Rocky7
Likely to miss the following league games: Pompey (a), Wigan (h), Bburn (a), Chelsea (h), Stoke (h), Citeh (a), Tottenham (h). Expected to be back for hopefully a crunch double against Liverpool (a) on the 21st March and the Mancs (a) 4th April.

Awful News, but at least we have some cover now. Hurry back, big man and get well soon. Zat has stepped up well when needed, not so sure Cuellar has, yet, but give him time. Proved he was a big time player in Rangers UEFA run last year and needs to do it again for us.
Madirish
gutted, but i was worrying he might be out for longer. time for cuellar to shine, and i am confident this will be the making of our carlos.
ric112
wishful thinking guys. this is an opportunity for KNIGHT, not carlos. carlos will be rightback. Knight and Davies have a partnership already. if not MON would have sticked carlos with davies, and nrc at rb in the matches where laursen was absent
Gruck
hope knight steps up for this
krisvilla
Zat Knight, your team needs you. He was very unlucky to get dropped when Laursen came back and was on good form. Lets hope that he can cement a place and make Martin earn his place back.
Villan444
cuellar/davies at the back for me with reo coker at right back

Awful news for fantasy football teams across the country! Or at least, mine! Cracking player, hope he recovers quickly.
The_Legend_Of_Zola

Disaster!!!!

I think the only positive to be taken from this is the fact that it is NOT the same knee he had all those problems with before. He will be fine and back before we know it. In the meantime Knight and Davies will do a fine job. I have confidence. That said - Get well soon Martin.
