Is 4th Place All That Matters For Villa?

Vital Villa asked in our last poll:

Is 4th all that matters?

Yes apparenlty! 57% voted yes.

28% went for the 'We should have a big enough squad by now' and 13% voted 'No, cups are important as well.'

That left 2% baffled voting 'Who knows!'

Come on then, win, lose or draw, what is your prediction for the game tomorrow? (And be honest!!!)

I assume it would go to ET and pens tomorrow if we are drawing, if not I'll have to change the poll ! I know 2-2 wins it for us due to the away goal rule. If we draw 1-1 then it is still even stevens.

We'll win it in 90 minutes. Sidwell and Carew in a 2-1 win.

I thought under the new ruling, any kind of draw will take it to extra time and the away goals only come into it after extra time's been played? They mess these things about so much I really don't know but I know this happened earlier in the season in a Spurs game. Don't know what competition it was though.

but surely PTP if it is 1-1 after extra time it would have to be pens? ie it ends up 1 away goal and 1 home goal each from both games?

Oi Fear me old f a r t - you're supposed to be coming over to mine for a home made traditional indian (paksitani) curry - remember when we were doing the VFC stuff? We'll have to arrange it before I go back to Turkey.
