Man Of The Match v Chelsea

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by 'sod it' (aka Vital Villan!) for the man of the match votes v Chelsea.

This time round Brad Friedel was the runaway winner with 40% followed by Luke Young on 26%.




Emile Heskey also got an honorable mention with 14%.

We also asked for the usual win, lose and draw predictions with 20% predicting correctly with our first loss in 14 games. (56% had predicted a win and 24% a draw)

It's about time we noticed Luke Young's contribution (even though he didn't win MOTM). I think he is one of our best right now. Hats off to Freidel-he kept it respectable.

I know Heskey was poo, he kept heading the ball in the opposite direction to Gabby, its funny how no matter who plays with Gabby none seem to be able to knock the ball down to Gabby's (a centre forward) feet over on the wing.

Just glad Petrov didnt win it, he usually wins these polls whether he has played well or not, Saturday was one of the rare occasions he actually played poor, and by looking at the poll it appears that i was not the only one who noticed.
