Man Of The Match v Everton

Vital Villa asked, in the guise of 'bad day at the office?' for your man of the match votes v Everton in the FA Cup defeat:

Stiliyan Petrov won with 69% of the vote followed by Luke Young on 11%.

That left:

Friedel (6%)
Sidwell (5%)
Gardner (3%)
Knight (2%)
Milner (2%)
Delfouneso (2%)
Carew (0%)
Agbonlahor (0%)
A. Young (0%)
Davies (0%)

Who on earth voted for Steve Sidwell? Even Steve Sidwell wouldn't have voted for Steve Sidwell on that performance?!?

We also asked for your predictions and sadly 28% were correct saying we'd lose. (48% said win and 24% predicted a draw)

Theres a few articles on news now saying he might not sign a contract extension if Barry leaves?! GULP! No pressure to finish 4th then.

Petrov by a mile, think him & barry have been quality together this season, really hope we keep them both. Sidwell was appaling on Sunday but I do think he will come good. Here's to bouncing straight back tommorow, claret blue army !!!!!!!!

Might be a ploy, if he is loyal to MON, to put the pressure on Barry to stay.

petrov has been world class this season. what a legend. so brilliant to see after his poor start with us

He's been great for us but I don't think he's deserved all of these MOTM votes people give him on here. Most improved player for sure but he's not been our player of the season in my opinion, still I'm bet he's won Vital's MOTM more than anyone else. I want to know when he's going to start moving forward with the ball, fair play he's there to keep possession in mid field but even though he's show he can bang a ball pretty much anywhere he rarely try's it.
