Villa Confident FA Cup Game WILL Go Ahead

Aston Villa have said they are confident that the FA Cup replay with Doncaster Rovers will go ahead tomorrow night despite the snow!

Villa explained:

We have had the under-soil heating on for a number of days and, although there is a light covering of snow on the pitch, ground conditions are soft.

We will be checking for road updates in the next 48 hours but we remain confident that the fourth round replay will be played on Wednesday at 7.45pm.

GOOD NEWS! I have not been to a game for ages due to lack of funds and working weekends so I am really pleased this is still going ahead.

Villa 5 - 0 Doncaster Secondly i think Arshavin is a waste of money at 16mill, i reckon he will be a flop. but from my 2 opinions i wud prefer option1

cannot WAIT for this game, lads. will little ashers be starting, do you reckon? he's served his three and we need his width and ability to finish doncaster off on a night where a replay is incredibly fortuitous to them.

Ashley HAS to play tomorrow surely? He's had himself a nice rest. He should be raring to go. The rest/ban could end up being a blessing in disguise.

OK so it's 00:30 Wednesday morning and the snow at B12 (where I live) is banging it down (technical term). According to all weather reports it's not supposed to snow again 'til Thursday. Erm..... Something tells me the headline of this article maybe a tad premature. Hope I'm wrong. If it does go ahead I think Thermals are a must. ;)

Jeez the UK is getting hammered by the weather!! Some news from south of the equator for you - it's 35C here in sydney today waaaay too hot to even kick a footie about. Rumours are that none other than Mr Roy Keane is in town to have talks about becoming the new manager of Sydney FC. And Robbie Fowler is apparently considering an approached by Queensland. I predict 3-0 against Doncaster UTV!! Unfortunately not televised here but will sleep in my villa shirt and hope the result is good when I wake up! (seems to be working so far this season!!!)
