Heskey Warns Not To Take Wigan Lightly

Heskey Warns Not To Take Wigan Lightly

Emile Heskey will face his former club in only his second game for Aston Villa says that they'll be up for it as Steve Bruce has given the Wigan squad belief in their abilities, hence they are currently 7th place in the league.

The £3.5million purchase said on the official site:

'It's going to be interesting. The Wigan lads are a great bunch. I watched them against Liverpool and I thought they did exceptionally well. They had tremendous belief and performed really well. In all honesty, they never looked in real trouble and could even have nicked it towards the end.'

Adding about the squad old Potato head has assembled, 'The prices being mentioned for some of the players at Wigan just goes to show how far the club has come. The manager has certainly signed some really good players but he has also instilled a belief in them to go out and perform. They are certainly doing that and we have to be ready this weekend.'
