Friday's Aston Villa Transfer Talk
Well there were a couple of links last night including alot of talk of Charles N'Zogbia joining Villa, read about it here - Are Villa About To Sign Charles N'Zogbia?
Also last night, Setanta Sports reported that Marseille's Elliot Grandin could be on the verge of a move to Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. He is a 21 year old striker, but I really don`t know anything else about him.
The link we had all been hoping for - Manchester City's Micah Richards has been linked in The Mirror with a move to the club!!! The report says (following Laursen's injury) 'Targets include Man City defender Micah Richards, 20, who has been linked recently with several other Premier League clubs'.
With three days left of the transfer window, we all know this is O'Neill's busiest time, so expect at least one more addition, maybe even one or two leaving? Who knows…………

I remember when he made his debut for Man City and it was against us in the FA Cup he scored an equaliser in the last minute and he was being interviewed on the BBC at about 5pm after the game and asked by Garth Crooks if he enjoyed scoring the goal he replied "Yeah it was **** amazing", Garth just reminded him that despite being 17 and excited that he was on the BBC and needed to keep the swearing under control. Classic.

So we are apparently in for 3 of Citeh's best young prospects. Can't see Sparky letting any of them go. Maybe Stuzza in the summer as they will be able to buy many more with their billions and the fact that he is a Villa fan but would be very suprised to see any in the next few days.

Is he actually a Villa fan though? I've heard many different things. Villa, Blues and Arsenal seem to be the main ones but does anyone know for sure?

He is from Birmingham, sometimes people just assume that anyone from Birmingham is a Villa fan.

The gospal of Wikipedia says he was born in Birmingham when his parents were visiting relatives, but he did grow up in Chapeltown, a district of Leeds.

I really hope we get Micah Richards! That would be fantastic, him and Heskey! But of course, N'Zogbia (Insomnia) would be geat too! Come on Martin, get the wallet out!

Mind you, if Michah Richards comes, and we already have Cuellar, Davies and Laursen ahead of Knight, I guess we will sell or loan out poor Zat! And he has played so well lately!

Zat is definitely a Villan so can't see him going anywhere but Laursen maybe worse off than we think. It was 2 years last time and although he came back to be a legend, he isn't getting any younger. Same age as me and I know what its like to have a dodgy knee and feel pain every time that I play.

I think we should keep harewood at least until the end of the season if not longer,got the right attitude and wants to play 4 us even if he isn't the most gifted of players.

I think Harewood and Sailfou could go now without being missed, but Shorey is still needed. Who knows how long it will take Bouma to get to 100%.
