Well there were a couple of links last night including alot of talk of Charles N'Zogbia joining Villa, read about it here - Are Villa About To Sign Charles N'Zogbia?

Also last night, Setanta Sports reported that Marseille's Elliot Grandin could be on the verge of a move to Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. He is a 21 year old striker, but I really don`t know anything else about him.

The link we had all been hoping for - Manchester City's Micah Richards has been linked in The Mirror with a move to the club!!! The report says (following Laursen's injury) 'Targets include Man City defender Micah Richards, 20, who has been linked recently with several other Premier League clubs'.

With three days left of the transfer window, we all know this is O'Neill's busiest time, so expect at least one more addition, maybe even one or two leaving? Who knows…………

I remember when he made his debut for Man City and it was against us in the FA Cup he scored an equaliser in the last minute and he was being interviewed on the BBC at about 5pm after the game and asked by Garth Crooks if he enjoyed scoring the goal he replied "Yeah it was **** amazing", Garth just reminded him that despite being 17 and excited that he was on the BBC and needed to keep the swearing under control. Classic.

So we are apparently in for 3 of Citeh's best young prospects. Can't see Sparky letting any of them go. Maybe Stuzza in the summer as they will be able to buy many more with their billions and the fact that he is a Villa fan but would be very suprised to see any in the next few days.
