Luke Moore Not Downhearted

How bizarre!

Luke Moore was brought on as a sub in the 80th minute replacing Milan Baros. Five minutes later, following the dismissal of Gareth Barry, the sub was subbed despite Angel having been on the pitch all game and not shooting on target once.

The 19 year old striker looked distraught and confused coming off the field so soon, however he has told the official site today that he is refusing to be downhearted!

Moore, who has made twenty first team appearances this season, said:

'This season has been good, but I want to do so much more. I want to be remembered as one of the better players the club has brought through. I'm not sitting back. I see this as just the beginning of my career and I want to push on to be the best I can be. I need more goals so that I can be around to set my own records. But I'm nowhere near that.'

He's also got his eyes firmly fixed on a trip to the new Wembley:

'The FA Cup would be good for us to win this season, especially with the final at the new Wembley. Against Port Vale next week, we just have to win, rather than play well.'
