I know someone already said this but,on Aston Villa Blog yesterday they had an article saying they were officially the most popular Aston Villa fans site. Can Fear not get in touch with this guy and threaten him or something?
11/07/2007 10:07:00
I think this recruitment drive is a reaction to that.

The journalists on every site or message board think they are the best, the most popular, know more than everybody else, forcing their own preconcieved ideas upon us.........just to chat, chill and talk Villa is all we need....and this site is about the best I've found.

One thing I would like to pose Fear is a guy ( called Andy) who works on the security side of things at VP and the training ground has told us that a foreign goalkeeper (not the french kid) has been popping up at the training ground and VP in the last two weeks and he reckons it is Boruc from Celtic. He is a Wolves fan, that I must point out, but he is a genuine bloke and I can't see him making it up. It could be he has him confused with someone else, but I'm not sure.....

This promo is done every two weeks Kammy, not a reaction to another site. The alexa figures Damian uses are a guide but can be very distorted. I really don't care to be honest who is the biggest, I just love doing this site and that is that. I'm happy with a million page impressions a month (15million odd hits which is a nonsense stat anyway!) and over 60 000 unique users.

We're the best, we know we're the best. 'Nuff said. We have more 'experts' (yours truly included) on this site than any other outfit could even dream of.

Fair enough MR Fear AstonMilan - how could the fella decipher that he was a goalkeeper, was he in gloves and jogging bottoms?
11/07/2007 22:52:00
astonmilan with all due respect, these friends of friends spotting players at BH or VP get old, and history has showed us that there's never any substance to the rumours.
