Poll: Villa Badge Gets Thumbs Up.

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by JasperVilla,

What is your opinion of the new badge now its been around a while?

38% said it was growing on them (there is a cream you can get from the Villa shop for that).
32% said they loved it.
3% went all positive and said it represents a bright new future.

5% said it was ok.

So that is pretty much overwhelming in the 'not against' side of things. That left

7% saying it is awful, pass the sick bag! 4% preferred the last badge and 11% wanted a round badge.

The last time we asked was the beginning of May not long after it had been released.

The results were:

An improvement on last badge (29%)
Could have been better (29%)
Fantastic (15%)
Totally awful (13%)
Got to give it time to grow on me (10%)
Average at best (4%)

Our latest poll asks your opinion on the Nigel Reo-Coker stalemate.

Like it or not, and personally I do, have done since day one, its our new badge for a new era. Love it or hate it, its going nowhere, apart from on all things connected to this great football club of ours, so lets just accept it and move on. We've got a lot more important things on our agenda, such as the fast-approaching new campaign.

I think the badge signifies a new era. I did however prefer the older. Onwards and Upwards though!!

Be interesting to see the complete new package, kit plus badge. Agree Lee, the badge is representative of the new era. I for one wanted a complete step away from anything and everything to do with the Ellis era, including the badge.

I tell you what it hasn't grown on me infact the more I see it the more I think we have made a big mistake, It's just too amateurish reminds me of a made up crest for one of those fake Jousts at Warwick Castle

I bought a t-shirt from the Villa Village with it on and as a large badge is honestly looks a little limp. But as Glen states it a move to a new future of all things Aston Villa.
