Martin O'Neill Fed Up With Links
Another Celtic player link has been dismissed by the Villa boss. Seems the press are just taking one Celtic player at a time to suggest in the rags that O'Neill is chasing their signature.
Martin O'Neill said of the latest link, this time to Shunsuke Nakamura, that it was 'complete tosh.'
I had a tortoise called Tosh once. He lived for 3 days. Gutting memories.
O'Neill added 'Speculation is part and parcel of football, especially at this time of the year - we all know that. I wouldn't normally respond to a specific rumour, but on this occasion I feel I have to. Neither myself nor anybody else at the football club has shown any interest in this particular player, nor indeed anybody at Celtic Football Club. Let me tell you categorically it is a load of complete tosh. I have not been near Celtic for the player and I won't be.'
He goes on to say he thinks the press just make these stories up and is fed up of it.
So no bid for Artur Borac either according to that quote? Interesting!

Fear I am very sorry to hear about the premature death of your turtle. I hope it didn't permanently scar you and prevent you from forming lasting relationships. That said, turtles last longer if you feed them. Just a tip in case you decide to try again...

CLVilla - I have to say your comments are quite interesting on the Celtic site. I wouldn't have posted myself if it wasn't for their severe lack of respect to both Aston Villa and English people in general! The Celtic fans really do seem to be a terrible reflection of all that is wrong with the Old Firm, bigoted abuse, mindless comments and a general lack of debate seems to be their only calling life. I always thought it was the Rangers fans who were the worst fans but Celtic fans are unintelligent children, clearly. UTV.

As MON says, speculation is part and parcel of the game, and long may that fact remain. Can understand though where he's coming from. Day to day new links to players rumoured by the media, can hardly help his cause.
