This is a massive sign that we are moving forward!
DeanoVilla
lol. He always did his best and gave his all, but hopefully the incoming are going to replace graft with quality! Now for a few signings inwards!?
The Fear
good luck gav, we had some good times together.
Stig
This must mean we have agrred a deal with a midfielder if we are letting him go
Christo
He was really vital until last season. I mean we looked a MUCH poorer side without him. But yeah, onwards and upwards. For any Bolton fans having a look here - he is a decent player and for £1m is a bargain. To be honest J'Lloyd Samual and Gavin McCann for £1m is a good bit of business - albeit for an 'average' premiership side.

Ive just realised, despite them being very different players, does this mean we are going to hold on to Steve Davis?? That would be fantastic. Reo-Coker, Petrov, Gardner, Davis and Osbourne competing for centre-mid remembering that GB can play there too. Now only if we could get Sneijder!!!
deano.avfc
Is it Deano? I hope so. I would feel a lot better if there was some 'positive' news about players coming in though. Panicking, moi?

I think that both Samuel and McCann will be squad fillers at the Reebok. We've got the smallest squad in the Prem and given a UEFA Cup campaign next season, we need a few players with Premiership experience who can step in and do a job when needed.

Lets all laugh at Bolton!!! McCann is a decent player but is he realy good enought o be starting for a premiership team?
BomBom
McCann has the heart of a lion,if only more players had his attitude.I wish him all the best.
Pking
We looked a much poorer side without him???? Yeah those last 7 games of the season were terrible!! Bolton fans must be worried, they are supposed to be champions league contenders and are buying our rejects.
Aronno7
Goodbye and good luck Smiler.
Jon.H
McCann gone and WHU saying that no bid has been put in for NRC..? Does this mean that MON is going all out for Sneijder..!
deemz
I wish him all the best and will give him a good welcome on his return to VP. Bolton have got a player who will easily fill the boots of Campo or Speed, both of whom are knocking on deaths door (not literally). He always gave 100%. Unfortunately he is a play breaker, not a play maker and for teams that are looking to push on, he does not have enough strings to his bow. Good luck Gavin. And Jloyd. I wish them both well.
voiceoftheholte
Bolton will be the new Charlton there top man goes and they will get relegated or relegutted as I like to call it
Christo
He did a job for us, at a difficult time for the club. Always gave his all, never shirked a tackle, and never hid during a game. Time though for him to move on. A sensible step for both player and AVFC. Good luck to him.

Cant help but think though that he might regret joining Bolton, a tough campaign lies ahead.
