German Veteran Turned Villa Down

German Veteran Turned Villa Down

Bit of a non-story on Sky Sports today but what the heck, I'm here so I might as well do something!

According to German goalkeeper Stefan Klos, he had the chance to join Villa in January but turned it down.

The Rangers and former Borussia Dortmund shot stopper said in the Daily Record:

'I had decided to stop playing at the end of 2007 so I didn't go to Aston Villa. I have played over 600 games for two very special clubs in Borussia Dortmund and Rangers and at my age I decided I did not want to move my family. I can be quite stubborn.'

Well, I did warn you it was a non-story at least!

The future does not bode well for Tommy.

Think you'll find as it mentioned January, Klos was goign to be the fill in whilst Tommy and Taylor were out injured. Instead we got the clown Kiraly.

Ah Kiraly, the man who has just moved to Burnley. That's another set of supporters in for many hearts in mouths times next season as Mr Kiraly flaps and flops at shots, crosses, and back-passes.

I have to say that ball that went under his body at Manyoo in the FA Cup should have been enough to put anyone off buying him.

You would certainly have thought so col8, but there always seems to be somebody out there who hasn't seen the light.
