'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Friendly' v Stoke

Difficult to have a friendly v Stoke but it appears on 1st August that is what Aston Villa will have.

The mighty claret and blues will travel to the Britannia Stadium to take on Tony Pulis's team.

Be interesting to see if Lee Hendrie is there as a Potter, he'll certainly not be there as a Villa man!

Perhaps the last chance for Hendrie and the Djemba twins to say "hello" to someone wearing a Villa shirt?

Just what we need. A late summer trip to the potteries to renew acquaintances with the Stokies. Had some eye opening experiences back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's when visiting the old Victoria Ground, and coming face to face with the lads from the Boothen End. Those were the days eh? Still time moves on, although I still very much suspect that this one at their new arena will hardly be a 'friendly'. Bring it on.

Probs part of the hendire and berger deal. Good for away fans though, quite local.
