Lawro Says Bolton v Villa Draw

Lawro Says Bolton v Villa Draw

Oh no, Mark Lawrenson has gone rocky on Villa!

After predicting five wins a row, the BBC pundit says our trip to the Reebok stadium will pull a 1-1 draw instead.

Mystic Mug meanwhile says 1-0 to Villa as Big Sam's exit leaves Little Sam struggling to fill the big mans boots.

Lawrenson said:

'Villa started the season with a run of nine unbeaten games, and this could see them finish the season unbeaten in nine. They have got a vibrant, pacy attack and are going well at the moment.

Bolton were poor at West Ham and although I think they'll get a point, Portsmouth's goal difference is better, which might be important for Uefa Cup places.'

An away win to end the season, what say you?

Lawro's full of it. The way the lads are playing on their travels suggests that Bolton are in for a beating. There's that little matter of revenge to take care of too, following Boltons, kick, trip, smash and grab tactics back at Villa Park in December. 2-0 to the good guys, as we sign off for our summer recess. Ashley and Big JC with the goals.

Villa win of course, brimming with confidence, Young, Gabby and Carew take them apart with a 3-1 thriller.

Lawro will always be cautious of Bolton ever since he tipped them to go down and lost his moustache as forfeit when they stayed up...
