Can anyone confirm or deny this? It would be two Villa games on the trot as he was at Eastlands the week before. Maybe I have got the wrong end of this but this is coincidental with MON publicly stating that a full England call up for Gabby was a bad idea in the short term.

I also think he kept us up last season, without him we'd have been sunk, I'm sure of it!

Berbatov has stressed on many occasions that he loves Spurs and he will be with us next season, so that puts an end to that. Am i sensing a bit of jealousy from Villa fans towards Berbatov, i think i am. Don't worry - Aaron Hughes, Mark Delaney, Gavin McCann and Chris Sutton should easily get you into the Champions League and attract the top quality players that Villa crave.

If you consider Gabriel Agbonlahor, 10 goals in 40 starts, better than Keane, 21 goals in 30 starts, then there must be something wrong . Isn't Keane the same striker that Villa have pursued for the past 6 seasons but have failed at every attempt? Keane deserves better, atleast playing in the UEFA cup.

Barry is the best player weve got by some distance, but the last few games have thrown me a bit. i was interested ti see who we would bring in this summer to play alongside Petrov in the middle, but after the way barry has played recently i reckon we should be looking for a new left sided player instead. Barry has settled into the central midfield position like a dream. i know hes not the holding player were supposed to be after but it still gives MON and interesting dilema.

How Many conceded?

I don't know Pking, around 70 goals we have conceded this year.

Overall that leaves us with a +30 goal difference, which is good. Yes i would like Spurs to concede less goals but as long as we are scoring more goals than we are conceding i will be a happy man.

Spurs Gd +2,Villa Gd +2,6pts between us.Villa have spent nothing like the amount Spurs have.

Bottom line, the league doesn't lie - Spurs were better than us this season, but we are looking forward and trying to improve. I haven't got a crystal ball, but which REAL FAN wouldn't hope for the best from their club? Barry is class, we have made some very good signings, only players we want to leave will be leaving and we will suprise a few people in the transfer market this summer. Maybe not next season, but certainly the season after that I can see us finishing above Spurs - but that is just my opinion and I am entitled to it.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion CLVilla. ASPINALL the only reason why you have a higher average is because you have a bigger stadium. Find me stats like how much time Spurs have sold out their ground compared to Villa and i think you will find that Spurs have the better average!!! iomvilla, it is very hard to break that elusive top four in the Premiership. So care you prove your point about 42,000? As for Berbatov, he's a quality player, and I wouldn't be complaining if he played for Villa, but at the same time, he's just one player, there are lots of others out there who are just as good. I am joining the debate fairly late but oal you are a muppet. You finish above Villa for only the fourth time since the premiership started and all of a sudden Spuds are world beaters???? Berbatov is class, there is no argument about that. Lennon is a poor mans Agbonlahor, there is no argument about that (just look at the goals scored column for proof). You have been a great attacking team this season but having the worst goalkeeper in Premier league history has been your downfall. Paul 'dives five minutes after the shot' Robinson is pants. In terms of support we are fairly equal. We both have decent supporter bases but I remember going to watch Villa against Spuds at your ground when Bosnich saved two penalties in front of 17,000. More facts for you. You have won less than the Villa and have never ever been near the European Cup. Your ground is OK but has been denied planning approval for expansion. Villa Park is one of the best grounds in the country and has planning permission agreed, to take the capacity to over 52,000. Spuds have potential to do better but it must be painful being on this site because the Arse and Chelski fans have laughed you off theirs. We are the dominant force of the Midlands. You are not even the dominant force of North London let alone the rest of London. So my advice would be for you to stick to your own site or go on to the site of your bigger local rivals.
