Juan Pablo Angel Will Be Missed

Juan Pablo Angel Will Be Missed

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Harkcombr, 'will you miss Juan Pablo Angel'.

Seems the majority - with 73% - very much will as they voted for the 'yes, he's a Holte End cult figure'.

3% said they'd miss him because he was good back up and a further 2% said he'd be missed and that he should have been starting.

That left 16% saying they'll not miss him as he wasn't good enough and 6% saying he was average at best.

Give him his due, when things were not going well at Villa (most of his time at the club) he got his head down and plugged away. Was he ever the same player after on brilliant season... After returning from the Copa America with an ankle injury which sidelined him for months? Still better than some of the dross we have had for that we can be eternally greatful. Good Luck JPA.

Thought he under-achieved throughout his Villa career!

Can't say I'll miss him. He was brought as a striker and sadly he flattered to decieve. The Spurs game was the last straw and personally I will not shed any tears. He was mediocre at the very very best.
