The Hulk, Bellend & Everton Views

Martin O'Neill has admitted that big John Carew needs more help up front despite his great start to his Villa career.

The Villa boss said: 'He deserves more assistance than we are giving him. There is no doubt about that. Again I feel that will come but he is not the type to throw his hands in the air and say 'where's the help?'

'The players have taken to him, his attitude has been terrific, and although not shown in terms of results, I think we are a better side with him than we were a couple of months ago.'

In another report, one of the papers reckon we have bid £7million for Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy and been rebuffed by the Anfield club. Sorry, but what a load of total hogwash. How would we have bid when the transfer window is shut? PAH!

So has MON thought about playing one of the other strikers we have alongside Carew instead of on the wing?

Can a bid not be submitted while the window is closed but it not go through until opening again? Although i do hope it's false, i think we could certainly do better than bell end.

All very well bemoaning lack of support MON, It's in your hands get a striker up alongside the big man and then see..... you never know we may score more than one goal in a match !
