General Takes Feedback Onboard

General Takes Feedback Onboard

The club listen.

How new is this?

It was announced earlier in the week that the team of 1982 will be paraded around the pitch at half time at the Sheffield United game Team of 82 to be honoured - Click Here.

However on the message boards in the General's thread, it was suggested that before the game would be far more appropriate because at half time people go for refreshments and to point percy at the porcelain.

The answer from the General?

We will parade the 82 Team BEFORE the game...you all are right. Done!!

Superb, feedback not only taken on board but acted on. Only a small example but this club is going places now it listens to the fans ie it's customers. So easy when you know how eh?

The thread started by club director General Charles Krulak is now 116 pages long, makes for very interesting reading from start to finish: Page 1 - Click Here and

Good call General. I was blubbing when Big Ron appeared before the Man Utd game and needed half time to get myself back in shape. Might well be the same when I see the heroes of 82!

Jonah, your message got to me. Also know how to use the threads now. Cheers fella. Well done General. Now all we need if for the Doug Ellis Stand to be renamed. Season tickets at £200. A statue of Ron Saunders in front of the Holte Hotel. A club anthem. A speaker system that can be heard. The North Stand to be redeveloped. And most importantly another European Cup in the trophy cabinet. If you could do all of this by close of play today it would be appreciated.

Proof, if indeed proof was ever needed, that these exceptional guys are well and truly on the ball.

Obviously Randy and his fellow board members are not going to respond to every single whim of the supporters, nor would we expect them to, but after being ignored almost completely throughout the Ellis reign, the supporters once again can begin to feel part of the club. Our views and opinions once again matter, and our voices are heard. Things are so, so much different and better to the chaotic mess we found ourselves in a mere twelve months ago.
