Hendrie Injured At Stoke City

Midfielder Lee Hendrie, on-loan at Stoke City Football Club, is out of action for up to three weeks because of a knee injury.

The Potters boss Tony Pulis said: 'Lee has had a knee problem for a good while now. He has been to see a specialist who has recommended a set of injections but, unfortunately, that means we have got to close him down for three weeks.”

Wonder if that means he will be returned to Villa for treatment? Must admit I'd forgotten he was on loan, I thought he'd gone!

My friend (A potters fan) informs me that we're still paying 100% of this waster's wages, even while he's on loan. The sooner his contract is up and he's off our books for good, the better.
The Usual Suspect
Don't believe we are paying 100% (surely not?) but I'd think we are paying a high percent of the wages. He's gone in the summer, wonder if he'll get the testimonial, just can't see many turning up really?!
The Fear
It would be nice for sentimental reasons for Lee Hendrie to don a Villa shirt in the final game of the season, even if it is just for the last ten minutes, one minute for every year he has been at the club.

He looked fine playing piggy back on the dance floor of Mechu Saturday night with friends!

i dont care if he's injured!

Disagree col, would be nice never to see him in a villa shirt again!
The Fear
That picture of piglet Lee looks scary man!

VV can never de described as a 'Lee Hendrie Loving' site, thats for sure. I have mixed feelings about the guy, but tend to agree with col8's comments, although of course whether it would/could ever happen is a totally different matter. Also agree with The Fear's observations about a testimonial. Realistically that surely isn't going to happen?

In jured or not, lil Lee is probably well in the running to be named Stoke City's Player Of The Season.
