'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Luke Likes Randy

Villa striker Luke Moore has told of his admiration for new owner Randy Lerner, and of his holiday (oops, surgery) in the USA.

The striker was able to take advantage of Lerner's other sports club, the NFL team Cleveland Browns with Browns surgeon Tony Miniaci operating on his dodgy shoulder.

'I've been over to Cleveland quite a lot and I'm familiar with their set-up. I've met Mr Lerner on a few occasions and what he told me makes me really excited for the future.

'I can tell, just by looking at the Browns, what he wants to incorporate over here. You just know he's going to be successful.' Moore said.

He went on to say that so far he hasn't had any problems with the shoulder since the surgery, despite the rough and tumble nature of reserve team football. Luke did also mention that he enjoyed his weeks rehab in Cleveland, good for him!

Just waiting for the gutter press to print the story.... Luke Moore in Rehab in Cleveland...

I reckon our Mr. Lerner could get Amy Winehouse to go to rehab! Better still - wipe her from this planet!

Just good to see him back. Seems to read the game well and has a natural eye for goal. we need him back.

Luke has to re-establish himself all over again. More new faces will be arriving come the summer, he has to prove himself in the face of fierce competition.

I think that Luke is merely stating the common factor now evident amongst our playing staff. They are now fully aware that they are at a club who are going places, a club that means business. They had to have been as frustrated and as disillusioned as us the supporters as the Ellis reign dragged on unabated.
