O'Neill Quite Happy With Villa's Style
Martin O'Neill has hit back at the spoilt bratt comments from Tony Mowbray who reckoned Villa, who were in 3rd place in the league may I remind the Baggie boss, aren't interested in playing football.
I've just checked the leagues, we are 4th and the Baggies are bottom. Sorry for the fans but maybe Mowbray should concentrate slightly more on how they play their football and leave us to our effective game?
The Villa boss said:
'Counter-attacking is football and I would say, outside the top sides, we are as good as any. Man United won their early championships with counter-attacking. Our performances this season have been superb. I don't think you can score the number of goals we have without ability.'
Adding, 'The general opinion is that we are as entertaining a side as any outside the top four.'
If I was him I'd have just asked, 'who is Tony Mowbray?'
If you want to remind yourself of the West Bromwich Albion bosses rant: Villa Not Interested In Playing Football?! LOL

I have to say I agree with Mowbray;-) Only joking, Villa are one of the best footballing sides to watch imo, in or out of the top 4-5 clubs...Sour grapes Mr Mowbray, sour grapes...

Not that he (he being Tony Mowbray) will care one jot, or lose any sleep over it, but his moaning and groaning about everything and anything AVFC post game last weekend, sent his estimation in my eyes into decline. Always had time for him before, didn't think him to be a poor loser, all that changed when he took it upon himself to deride my club.
