Charles N'Zogbia Wants Toon Exit

Charles N'Zogbia Wants Toon Exit

There is only one little scrap of gossip today and that comes (apparently) directly from Newcastle midfielder Charles N'Zogbia.

The 22-year-old told L'Equipe that his agent is in talks with Villa, Arsenal and Spurs. Expect a denial or a 'misquoted' story any day soon!

Anyway, apparently he was out of the Toon and said:

'I'm at a turning point in my career right now. My agents are talking with Tottenham and Villa and, from what they've told me, Arsenal could also be in the frame. I have a preference for the Gunners, but they are three great clubs.'

Not sure he'll have endeared himself to the Newcastle fans with this sort of quote, as if they haven't got enough on their hands with Mike Ashley and Dennis Wise at the moment!

Kinnear has just said: "I have spoken to Arsene Wenger and he said he's not interested in any of my players, so I don't know where the agent is coming from" so maybe its just us and yids...

He's got a big mouth ala Berger so I don't think MON should get involved but he knows best. Are we going to get a post on the OS confirming or denying his interest now??

With Shorey apparently free to leave a move for CNZ may be on the cards.

I can fully understand and appreciate why MON would be interested in bringing the young man to Brummagem B6. Possesses a sweet left foot, and is a talented individual from what I've seen, but you would certainly have to question his attitude I would think, not only because of the way he's making his current 'want out' feelings known, but also because of episodes that he's been involved in in the past.

Wouldn't young Charles be looking for guaranteed first team football, something Martin clearly wouldn't offer him? One of his complaints I understand is lack of regular starting action. Pity Shorey hasn't shown his true colours. A very good left full back, who for some reason just hasn't produced the goods here at Brummagem B6.

If we did sign him, how would we feel about him clearly preferring a move to Arse? Just get on with it I suppose...

I know a few Toon fans who would be very sorry to see Charlie Zog leave. Always a good sign I think?

Until he left, CharlieYamYam, then they would be on here or the site of whoever he ends up with having a go at him just as they did with Milner. I know thye all love their club but they have to realise they are not a big club and are now bottom feeders.
