Villa Boss Blasts Transfer Rumours
Martin O'Neill has blasted the transfer rumours - oh how he loves the transfer windows!
He told Sky Sports Newsthat there isn't a 'grain of truth' in any of the speculation 'flying around' adding, 'I also don't think that anyone has enquired on my behalf.'
He does however confirm he is looking to increase the squad in order to push on and hopefully carry on competing in the top four up until the end of the season.
'As I have said, this January window is the only opportunity that you get to try and look at your squad and see if it needs bolstering. I believe it does, which could be the more difficult task.'
So Crouch, Defoe and so many more IN by Thursday morning then!?!?!

No Emile Heskey, no Peter Crouch, and no Darren Bent. Apart from that non wish list, I'm pretty open. Kenwyne Jones appeals. Now he's the right type of centre forward that we need.
