Lawro Tips Villa For Hull Win

Mark Lawrenson has predicted a 2-1 win for Villa v Hull.

Having got a score draw prediction correct (although he said 1-1) for Villa v Arsenal, Lawro told the BBC:

'I would love to know the reaction of Hull's players after what boss Phil Brown did to them at half-time in the 5-1 defeat at Manchester City. He should have got them in the dressing-room and it will be interesting to see how they perform on Tuesday.

Aston Villa had a great comeback to draw with Arsenal, but they could and should have been 4-0 up at half-time in that game. They are set up to play counter-attacking football in the absence of John Carew and this should suit at the KC Stadium.'

Mark Lawrenson playing the closet Villa fan again. The day he actually predicts us to travel up to Anfield and win, then I'll know that he's finally cracked.

Three points up on Humberside will be just the ticket. Lawro is right, it will be interesting to see how The Tigers react to that on field half time dressing down from their manager. Brown might not get the response he hopes for and expects.
