Really wicked deflection for the winning goal alright. It didn't look as if it had taken such a deflection off Lucas Neill at the time. We knew it had clipped him, but thought it was merely that, a slight touch from a clever Jimmy Milner chip. You live and learn.

That was a much better chance near the end than what I had originally thought. Really Brad should have been left with no chance to save. Think I ought to give up actually going to the games. You see far more when you watch via a tv or video screen!!!

We thought at the time as well that Ash had made a right pigs ear of that chance when he picked up the short back pass, and went round green. I didn't realise thouugh that he had taken the ball so far wide, leaving him with quite a difficult angle. Not such a bad miss after all.
